    GFATM (GLOBAL FUND FOR AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS AND MALARIA CONTROL PROGRAM)

    It is an in-service quality upgrading Global program for Graduate Nurses both GNM & ANM, working in public and private sector.

    Indian Nursing Council has been identified, the Principal Recipient (PR) by Global Fund for giving in service training for Bsc, GNM and ANM staff nurses. INC invited our Institution, Holy Cross School of Nursing to participate in this prestigious project by taking up training courses for in-service nurses. Seven of our teachers were given trainers training by INC to begin this project Total 363 staff (GNM – 244, ANM – 119) were trained so far

    • Holy Cross School of Nursing started in the year 1997
    • This school of Nursing was started in the year 1997 with the permission from the Indian Nursing Council, Karnataka Nursing Council & the government of Karnataka with the intake of 40 students for General Nursing and Midwifery course.
    • Ours was the first Nursing School in the district of Chamarajanagar and was considered best all these years.
    • The 1st batch of 20 students joined the School of Nursing on the 12th of August 1997
